'If I were a chair' poem

If I were a chair I would wait for
a person to sit on me
I would be pushed in and out
by dirty hands

If I were a chair I would hate
being stood on by the
smelly shoes
I would squeak angrily wishing
they would get off

If I were a chair my feet will be
dragged around everywhere
I would no longer be used
because of my weak feet

If I were a chair I would be
left in a cold classroom with
my friends
I would stay there and wait for
another day to start

The Gruffalo

This book is about... A mouse who makes up a monster called the Gruffalo and scares all the other animals in the forest. He described the Gruffalo every time an animal came along, this made them run away. The Gruffalo quickly walked away.
